Anne Bayne of Dunsapie Loch
Anne Bayne welcomes her husband, the poet Allan Ramsey back from the Grand Tour only to find that London is pulling him away. His career as being part of the centre of the Enlightenment movement in Edinburgh dawns the prospect of a monument being created in his name. Anne resists the public attention that this will generate, fearing that she will see less of her beloved husband. The plans for the monument changes her mind as it promises to bind them together over a shared loved.

Anne walks around her beloved Dunsapie Loch as she reads the letters from London her lover sends her. At first they comfort her but friends of Allan want to know when he is coming back and she cannot tell. Her husband is building his career and does not show his attention to the loch he enjoyed with Anne.
This Audio play will be part of this years Edinburgh Fringe Festival and compliments the earlier play by myself, Lita, ‘Anne Bayne of Duddingston Loch.’

It is lovely to read you again, Lita. There sounds like a lot of mystery surrounding Allan. Maybe there is more to the story, and who knows what Anne may find or encounter. Sounds like you are working on your craft and wonderful that you have a new audio project for Brighton Fringe. Wishing you well 😊
