Napoli unplugged

fSmall audio tape and film follows the feelings of a couple parting over coffee in Naples.  Their emotions reflected the distorted beauty around the cafe.

With the blue moon appearing later in the month the moment felt strangely timely to write about people embracing a new opportunity, even if they felt they had no choice in the matter because situations were out of their control.

  1. Opportunities given and taken, new beginnings flourih after ends, expectedly or surprisingly. Sometimes gloomy, sometimes embracing one like a gentle summer rain on a stifling hot day – giving one rather relief than pain. Life has so many faces, like the one in a Naples cafe, that one should be open to grasp any opportunity to enjoy it in its various forms, dimensions and appearances.

    Well done, Lita! 🙂

    • Beaming! Thank you. Sending all good wishes from sunny Edinburgh today. Last night there were fireworks over the castle and it reminded me of your capture of the display in New York.

    • Wow. Thank you. Your words have raised my spirits by a mile (as your posts do!). I’m up in Edinburgh for the August fringe so having some lovely sunshine, music and art to boost the soul. Your Hemingway quote matched to the tropical colours in the Butterfly’s wings post is superb and uplifting. August looks good today!
